The SFLNC, in its cursory collection of visitor information at the browser level, gathers data merely to profile our website guests in very general ways. We count how many of you use the various browsers out there, we see how much time you spend on different pages, where you click to and from. etc. Every so often, we look at this information as pie charts, bars and stacks, then we determine what --if any-- mistakes we've made with respect to accessibility, navigateability and the like.

We are a PAC (Political Action Committee) and, as such, it is not the intention of SFLNC.com to sell you anything, we do not file your personal information away because we may wish to sell you something in the future, nor are any of our funds derived from the sale of our members' personal data to any other organization.

If you wish to volunteer to work for the SFLNC, the information we request from you is more personal in nature because we find this useful in matching your skills and background to our needs. This information is kept in a database and referred to from time to time as our varying needs manifest themselves. At no time will information supplied to the SFLNC by any potential volunteer, for the purpose of volunteering, be shared with anyone other than the SFLNC Board of Directors, their assignees or employees for any purpose other than a review conducted as part of a volunteer search.

If you wish to make a financial contribution to the SFLNC, this is handled securely by PayPal. We do not have access to your credit card or personal banking information, nor are we supplied with this once your contribution has been processed. PayPal notifies us with your name and a contribution amount, nothing more. We, again, do not share any information about our contributors or the extent of their donations with ANYBODY.
